The Imajin
The Imajin are a race of creatures formed from strong emotions engraved onto objects that develop a soul of their own over a fifty year process. At the end of the fifty year development said object is imbued with a soul and takes on a humanoid appearance if the one who engraved feelings into it was a humanoid, or an animalistic appearance if it was a beast or animal. They tend to linger around areas wirh a high magic concentration level as magic is their primary source of energy. They do not need to eat, but still need a minimum 6 hours of sleep to operate at their best as they enter something of a recharging period for themselves.
Imajin are varied in terms of size and ability as each can take on a completely unique identity based upon the object they take shape from and the feeling they are imbued with. A doll that was cherished by a young girl and was only ever shown love and affection may eventionally transform into a kind Imajin that works as a child's caregiver, while a doll that was the only companion of a sad girl or ended up abandoned may transform into a more twisted creature out for revenge. Imajin are highly impressionable and widely ignorant to world events aside from anything they would hear in the process of growing a soul.
As far as their combat abilities and skills go they can range from pitifully weak to dangerously strong, but are typically only so in their particular brand. Most household objects or wartime equipment based Imajin are physically powerful and are highly resistant to suffering any real damage from physical attacks due to the disconnect between their bodies and souls. However, since they are beings who are mostly formed from magic powerful magic attacks are highly effective against them and can disrupt their equilibrium. Imajin do not naturally grow old but can still be killed or die if they go too long without magic to draw on. When they do, their consciousness fades along with their soul and they return to being an everyday object.
