Rules
This will serve as the megathread for any rules and general suggestions I may I have in regards to the forum decorum.
Please, take a read at this, especially if you're unsure with what's allowed or if you're new to this.

Re: Rules
General Rules These general rules are here for the sake of keeping the worldbuilding process organized, clean, and understandable. We wouldn't want to have our writing conflict with each other after all. I'll keep them in a bulleted list.
Before you write anything, make sure to read up on what's been written on the forum in order to get a grasp of what's been created, what's not, and what the vibe of the worldbuilding is like.
Don't make things too edgy / grimdark with your writing.
If you're about to / have posted or written something major in lore (like the creation of a species, concept, faction, etcetera) then make sure to run it by the server first. This is a collaborative effort, you can't just simply decide that this is "canon" now.
Every single member of the project has the right to vote to either retcon or delete something that's been written down if nobody likes it.
Please don't make your characters too "overpowered", we want everything to be within reason here. No Mary Sues, please.
There isn't necessarily a punishment for violating these rules, I'll just be thoroughly disappointed in you.
Re: Rules
Content Limits
These rules determine to what degree we can show sensitive topics in our worldbuilding and writing.
(P.S. This can be subject to change depending on what everyone thinks)
Sexual Content
I'll generally allow this, but only within limits. Sexual themes and topics are allowed to be implied towards or even mentioned, but not to the point where it's 'hentai' levels of lewd. It's a natural part of the world that happens, but things shouldn't so overly sexualized to the point where you're basically worldbuilding for a hentai.
Sexual Assault
This stands different from general sexual content as this is a significantly more sensitive topic. It's best that this be implied / mentioned rather than descriptively stated. If you are going to tackle this subject, please do it as tastefully as possible.
Racism
Go ahead, this is somewhat of a staple issue in fantasy worlds after all. The only time I won't allow this is when the racism is an obvious malicious allegory against an ethnic group of people in real life.
Re: Rules
Gun Clause Guns are in the world! But what's the limit to them?
Any gun which exists from the 1890s and below can be used, but the most common guns take design inspiration / look quite similar to firearms which existed from the 1800 to 1890. The only firearms which are not allowed to be used / taken inspiration from in this time period are semi-automatic pistols such as the Luger and Mauser C96. If you're unsure whether something fits, ask in the server and provide a reference image.
