Vulpes
The Vulpes were all originally Luponis, branching off when a community of them would become worshippers of Vulpeamor, the Goddess of Love, after said goddess began to bestow upon them her blessings. Why this came to be is simple: Vulpeamor is a vain goddess, who takes immense pride in her beauty. She wanted the world to revere her for her beauty, so she'd take a community of Luponis and shape them into her image, changing them to resemble the a Fox more than a Wolf
Traits
All Vulpes are natural beauties, thanks to the influence that Vulpeamor brought upon them. As such, they're prone to gathering lots of attention wherever they go, which makes it easy for a Vulpes to take on a profession relating to public perception, such as performers. They are also known to be quite cunning and persuasive, having a natural gift for persuading people and conjuring up plans. A Vulpes is easy to identify due to their pair of fox ears and a bushy tail, features that their culture take immense pride in, as it shows their close connection to Vulpeamor. As such, it's considered unusual for a Vulpes to attempt to hide their features, although some are known to do so in order to avoid garnering attention. They also tend to be slightly shorter than the average human
The Vulpes age slower than humans, as Vulpeamor wants the beauty of her images to remain beautiful for as long as possible. As such, a Vulpes matures around 15 years of age, retaining their beauty until the age of 160, where they tend to pass on around the age of 200. It's highly unlikely to encounter an elderly Vulpes however, as it is said that Vulpeamor often grants them an invitation to live forever beside her as a fox when they reach 160.
Magic
Members of the Vulpes race are naturally gifted when it comes to learning magic, thanks to the influence of the divine upon their species. As such, many often decide to learn magic for a variety of reasons. Blaze magic often comes natural to them, but any who put their mind to it can learn any differing form of magic. In rare cases, a Vulpes can be born the polar opposite, having great difficulty when it comes to learning magic. This usually happens when the parents either insult or disrespect Vulpeamor, who then punishes their child in retaliation
